💸 Make It To Payday
Make It Last. Make It Grow.
Break the Cycle.
Spend Smart. Save More.
Make your money last until payday or until more money comes in.
How to Use SaveToPayday
Make the money you have last until more money comes in—whether that’s a paycheck, side job, benefits, or another payment. Pay your bills, spend wisely, save what you can, and work toward breaking the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle.
What am I saving for? A car, a house, a business, investments, or emergency savings? Every smart choice can bring you closer to your goal.
- Enter your money. Type how much you have right now.
- Choose when money may come. Pick a known payday, an expected date, or I don’t know yet. Only enter money you already have.
- Open Your Bills. Scroll down from Your Money Plan to Your Bills. These are regular payments, like rent, car notes, insurance, phone, power, and loans. Enter them first. Mark Paid only after you pay.
- Check Money Left After Bills. Scroll down past Your Bills. This shows what you can use after unpaid bills and Money Set Aside.
- Check Spend Today. If you know or expect a money date, this is your daily spending guide. If you don’t know when more money is coming, no daily limit is shown. Unspent money stays available.
- Pause before buying. Ask: Do I need it? Do I have it at home? Can it wait? Tap I Thought About It to celebrate thinking first. It resets when you start a new money plan.
- Record What You Spend Today. Choose Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner when you buy a meal. Enter things you buy during the day, like groceries, gas, or lunch. Some are needs and some are wants. Regular bills go in Your Bills above. Do not enter a payment twice. Purchases come out of Your Money Right Now once. Tap Edit to fix a mistake, or Delete to remove one purchase after confirming. You can Undo a deletion.
- See your week and save. Open My Spending This Week to see purchases from this week, including ones moved to Past Payday History. In My Savings Goals, Add to Savings lowers Money Left After Bills, not Your Money Right Now. Move Money Back raises Money Left After Bills again. Your Money Right Now stays the same because you still own that money.
- When money comes in. When you receive money, tap I Got Money! Start a New Plan. Your leftover money carries over, and your old spending moves to Past Payday History, even if you recorded no purchases. You can delete one past payday record after confirming. Deleting an old record does not change your money.
- Need to start over? Go to the bottom and tap Clear History and Start Fresh. This erases everything and cannot be undone.
Remember: You do not have to spend money every day. Open Break the Cycle for easy money-saving tips and questions to ask before you buy.
